Our School Values
In light of the recent inflammatory comments made by politician Robert Jenrick, James Watt Primary School, located in the heart of Handsworth, continues to take pride in our beautiful city and its rich diversity. We celebrate the very best of Birmingham while instilling in our pupils the key values they need to thrive, both within Handsworth and in wider society.
After extensive consultation with all stakeholders, including parents, staff, governors, and pupils, we have identified six core values. We are Honest in our actions, Aspirational in our goals, Noble in our intentions, Determined in our pursuit of excellence, Safe in our practices, and grounded in our Worth; together shaping what it means to be a Proud Handsworth Human.
